Levy competes at State Golf Tourney

Austin High’s Alex Levy shot a 145 in the Texas 5A State Golf Championship last weekend to tie for 12th. Alex shot a 73 on the first day then finished with a 72. See full results>>

Roudebush finishing College Career

Nice article about former Austin High golfer, Scott Roudebush, in Thursday’s Statesman. Scott is winding up a fine career at TCU with a pro career looming. He won the 2009 Firecracker Open and is a 3-time Mountain West all-academic selection.

Ben Crenshaw has 8:18 tee time

Austin High grad and 2-time Masters winner Ben Crenshaw is making news this week. His caddie, Carl Jackson, is carrying clubs for his 50th Masters this week – the last 35 have been with Gentle Ben. Good luck, Ben!

Morris Williams Jr. now in Texas Golf Hall of Fame

A nice article in the Austin American-Statesman this morning about former Austin High golfer, Morris Williams Jr. He was inducted into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame on Monday, which also includes former Austin High golfers Harvey Penick and Ben Crenshaw.
